The stool I use was given to me because I wrote a song called "The Log Cabin Blues". The stool originally served as a bar stool in a bar called the "Log Cabin Bar". The bar burned down around 35 years ago and the stool was one of the things that survived the fire. The bar was owned by the father of one of my friends. After he passed away his son gave me the stool because he liked the song and it reminded him of the Log Cabin Bar.
    It was originally chrome plated with a red seat. Over the years it began to show its age. A couple of years back I installed a platform for my feet and painted it black with a ring of shamrocks just below the seat. It's a real beauty now and several people have taken pictures with or without me perched on the green checkered seat.
