My specialty is Federal Indian Law, and while working for a small Algonquin nation, a young chief, who died much too young from lukemia, was prepairing Kinikinik, tobacco and sage for a pipe. He was doing so with great reverence and suddunly he grinned and looked up at me, and said, You know Larry, this stuff is sacred to us. It is one of the many things we should not have trusted white guys with - all the stuff they add really mess it up.
