I find that certain words suggest colours to me but only in a vague sense. When I'm playing or listening to music I have a very distinct sense of "seeing" shapes and patterns that seem to make logical sense of the music and of where it's going.

It's something I'm not equipped to describe but feel I understand at a fundemental level.
