The Tawney song mentioned above is probably the parody of Frankie and Johnny, rewritten for the RN. I think it was called Stripey and Blondy, and Cyril MAY have written it, it has that authentic naval touch, but you'd have to ask him.

Hardly traditional.

Can't remember ANY blatantly homosexual tradional songs. Even if the two scotswomen above were bent, it isn't obvious in the song.
