Well I have no axe to grind here, as there is no chance whatsoever that I will ever be realeasing a CD. So...as just an ordinary folkie who reads the forum, I like to see the threads about CDs released by other Catters....I've bought Cara's latest and love it so much that I will buy the other two. I also want El Greko's CD and I have CDs by a number of Catters whom I consider friends. If I didn't see them promoted on here, in a lot of cases I wouldn't even know they existed. Can't see the point in more than one thread on a particular CD though.

The same comment could also be made as about George Bush, spatulas etc...provided the thread title gives you a little info about what the thread is going to be about, you can either read it or not...your choice. So if you don't like self-promotion, don't read those threads. I NEVER read threads about George Bush.
