It's you who is the social misfit. harpgirl has you pegged. You need to belittle everyone else because it's the only way you can feel good about yourself.

If I were to try to take a guess about you, my guess would be that you have at least one, possibly more than one learning disability that never got diagnosed (or at least that never got the proper attention), and that you never felt like you fit in with the people around you. So your way of dealing with it was to be the clown, and to mock people and belittle them and get some laughs from doing that so people would accept you and not make you feel like an outsider. If I were to take a guess, that's probably what it would be.
