Guest - I don't really think Romania is the lost homeland of the Roms. In fact I think they came from somewhere near Pakistan. I also do not believe there is an English govt. I know it is British.

I wouldn't doubt if you are one of the many who mistakenly call citizens of the U.S., Americans. Of course citizens of Canada and Mexico also come from North America and the U.S. really doesn't have exclusive rights to the name.
