Ok - off the top of my head how about this, in 4-4 time:

A (C)burn up on my (G)bike, that's what I (C)like
Just for (D)kicks, I ride all through the (G)night
My (D)bird hangs on in (G)fright
When I (A)do the ton for (D)kicks (D4)(D)

This is just an idea and I've no guitar to try it on but I think if nothing else it'll provide something to work from.

I also think there's a line missing between "ride all through the night" and "my bird hangs on". I think it was something like "and sometimes we even have a fight" but it's many years since I heard the record or met Dumpy so I forget.
