Subject: RE: EuroGathering 2005: The Final Countdown
Ok, had some sleep (not yet enough, but can think a bit more clearly) ...

Thanks to everyone involved in this weekend - it was great!
On the RichterEurogather-scale it was definitely a Niort 9 ;-)

Special thanks go to

Jill and Roger for hosting the meeting at La Garenne and for an endless supply of tea, coffee, food, whatever else was needed,

Richard and Pat for organizing the meeting (and food and drinks ...),

the musicians for lots of wonderful tunes and songs,

the birds (including hoopoes, sparrows, blue tits, great tits, yellow hammers, nightingales, starlings, red starts, robins, chaffinches, green finches, gold finches, swallows, house martins, sky larks, wrens, blackbirds, field fares, song thrushes, black caps, white wigtails and some more I don't remember or could not identify) and les grenouilles (frogs) for their concertos

les voisins (the neighbours) for enduring our late-night/early morning sessions

I had an idea how we could show our gratitude to Jill and Roger:
let's send picture postcards to them with pictures from the place where you live. My Munich postcard will be on its way when I go to the post office later this morning.
If all participants do that, Jill and Roger will have a nice collection ...

If you need the address, send me a PM (I don't want to post it here publicly)

I will start processing my photos this afternoon, so I hope I can send them to Jeff tonight.
