Should I let dream be all of life, or try
To make dream real? Should I risk smile, to win
A chance at heart's desires? Is longing sin,
That I must more than dreams of you deny?
What should I hear, in silence? What reply
Can I expect, when distance keeps me far
From eyes and lips? Yet, I cannot dreams bar,
Though I might in vain for my desires cry.
You are more than just dream: The verse you share
Gives heart reason to hope, and mind the chance
To see another's vision. Can I hold
You in more than my dreams? Should I now dare
To ask for more than hope, or think romance
Might be enough to your desires enfold?
