Yes, I still love John Kerry.

Quite simply: Senator Kerry conducted an honorable campaign against dishonorable men. If he didn't realize it at the time, he does now. The outrages being perpetuated by the Bush Administration and in the House and Senate by the radical right make their intentions clear: they are going to crush our democracy if we don't fight back with every bit of strength we can muster. John Kerry is angry and he's fighting mad. He's stronger than ever and he's in ass-kicking mode, doing and saying things that are uncharacteristically undiplomatic for a United States Senator. The gloves are off precisely because he is defending us. While Senator Kerry is willing to endure personal hits, he will come out swinging for us. That is Senator Kerry's most unique quality. He defends us as fiercely as mother lion defends her cubs.

Consider this: they threw everything they had at the man and when the dust settled John Kerry was still standing. If the right thinks they have destroyed John Kerry, they are dead wrong. John Kerry is strong and he is strongest when defending that which he loves. And folks: that is us. He loves Americans. He loves America. This is what is core and central to this man. He will never give up or give in as long as he feels we are threatened. And folks: we are threatened. Gravely. Our country is threatened. Our world is threatened. Our planet is threatened.
