Chris,

You have received quite a bit of good advice in this thread and at other times, which is the same approach others here have followed AND FOUND EFFECTIVE.

Mudcat is not a great tit to suck. It's a community. Your focus has been broadcasting your needs instead of offering others a hand.

Such as--

<> How many Catters' CDs have you bought or been sent as a friend?
<> For how many of these have you posted a review?
<> How many Catter CDs have you bid on in the Auction, or reviewed positively in an Auction thread?
<> Where are your CDs in the Mudcat Auction?
<> Have you sent your CD to the Catter who writes reviews for the Philly Folksong Society? Did he review it or pass it on to another PFS revirewer, if it was not his personal taste?
<> Have you READ the thread full of Catter CDs (and the other one with the PFS reviews), and have you bought or commented on any of these?
<> Have you sent review copies of your CD to anyone here as a gift, or requesting a review?
<> Been to any Mudcat events to get to know people and let them hear you live?
<> Been to any Catters' concerts and reviewed/bought their music?

No?

Try a few of those common Mudcat practices, and you might get a better sense of this place as a community. It CAN be a place for encouragement from your peers and your elders, as you take risks in your career OUTSIDE Mudcat. But it is neither a marketplace nor your mom.
