Sonnet 01/12/04                         CMLVI

I should not allow dreams, but heart in you
Sees something far too precious not to reach
To hold, forever. With your eyes, you teach
My soul something of heaven: There are few
That fill my feelings so. Yet, dreams can't do
What I desire: To wrap my arms around
Sweet muse, and nibble upon ear. I've found
No path to hopes, save that heart remain true.
Yet, are dreams foolish when I do not know
Enough of your desires to bring you smile?
Should I not think about kissing your skin?
Perhaps I should not let these passions grow,
Without a kiss. Yet, dreams of you beguile
My heart: I would all of you seek to win.
