Would you have me send dreams, to fill your night
With my desires? You know I long to hold
Arms tight around my muse, but have I told
How much I want to taste skin, and lips bite
Your ears? Might you brush hair from neck, invite
My touch to trace your jaw, and let lips meet?
Yet, I need not taste kiss to know how sweet
You are: Words give heart reason to seek sight.
Would you have me be more than one who writes
Of hope and dream? You need but ask, to gain
All I can offer. Should I hope you dare?
I will be what you wish: You hold my nights
With eyes, to keep dreams alive. I remain
One who must try to show I'll always care.
