You are not burden, though I would support
All you might wish. How can I help, to ease
The season's trials? You know in dreams I court
All of your love: Would it help to dreams cease?
I care enough to not pursue desires:
I have made clear my dreams. All I demand
Is honest thought, and words. Your heart inspires,
And dreams give soul chance to season withstand.
You know I want far more than dreams might earn,
Yet how can I less than love muse, when she
Gives reason for my dreams? Might smile return
Reflection of the care I hope you see?
All that soul seeks, I find in your soft eyes:
But does dream make heart any the more wise?
