Sonnet 24/12/04                      CMLXV

When will I find the chance to show concern,
That muse might know that my caring is real?
I can think that she knows just how I feel,
But do I have a hope that she will learn
How long love lasts? My desires still return
To those heart lost: I cannot now forget
No matter pain recalled, any I've let
Give dreams and verse, though some did not love earn.
I hold to dreams as long as muse permits,
And care until I die: Can I give more
Than all of heart? Muse holds my soul, if she
That soul desires. What other feeling fits
But love? I find my muse to be the core
Of all that heart in dream of love might see.
