CANCELLED...

received an email containing this "Cancelled: Alcester Festival in June due to the lack of financial support."

I'm stunned! It's time to go back to the old type of festival like Bishop's Castle Folk Weekend.

I'm so sorry for all concerned with the organisation of this festival. It's heart breaking.

Note: I combined today's two threads on this festival - one said the festival was cancelled, and the other said it was ON. As of 2005-05-25 18:12:39, my information was that the cancellation has been lifted, and that the festival will go on as planned. Please let me know by personal message if the situation changes, and I will update this note and the title of this thread.
