"Standard" Muffin recipe

2 cups all purpose flour
1/3 cup sugar
1 and 1/2 teaspoon baking pwder
1/2 teaspoon salt
3 tablespoons melted butter
1 egg
1 cup milk

Sift dry ingredients together

Mix wet ingredients well

Add wet to dry - stir well but don't overbeat. Can add nuts, fruit , etc at this point.

Fill greased tins 2/3 full. Bake @ 400F 20 to 25 minutes.
