It IS a giant scam. The loans are made precisely so that huge international banks can get richer at the expence of desperate people.

The poverty is real, however. And the tragedy is that people are dying for the sake of money. Money rules this system.

Taxpayer is venting his anger on the wrong people, in my opinion.
