Re: Sea Fever Guitar chords - John Ireland's version.
This is what I came up with from memory - it seemed to work and as hardly anyone else knew the song I got away with it! It was best when a flute and fiddle played the melody line along with the guitar, because the tune's a bit unpredictable if you don't know it. Sounded lovely - very haunting - round the camp-fire! (The camp theme was "The Sea" in case you were wondering - this was the spot of culture between Disney songs and Yellow Submarines etc!)
Sea-Fever
Dm C G F C D
I must down to the seas again, to the lonely sea and the sky,
Em Gm Dm C F C
And all I ask is a tall ship and a star to steer her by;
Am Gm Cm F D
And the wheel's kick and the wind's song and the white sail's shaking,
Em F C Am G A Dm
And a gray mist on the sea's face, and a grey dawn breaking.
I haven't yet cross-checked it with the piano chords (thanks, Mary), but I will and make any adjustments as necessary ready for next time.
