Hi fellow Catters

Just to let you know that stage 2 of treatment began this week. Painful and uncomfortable, but I think it is very positive. It seems a long time ago since I was diagnosed (just before Easter) with bone cancer but I've always felt I could beat it - and I will. I'm sure all the positive thoughts from you lot have helped both the illness and my ability to cope with it.

I'm on steroids now which are helping with the pain tremendously. Not sure of the side effects - blow up to 50 stone? Grow a penis? No idea, don't care - THEY WORK.

I went over to Martin Mwyndham-Read's place last week and I can honestly say it was one of the best weeks of my life. Recharged my batteries in all respects. Look out Folk Scene - I'm back!
