I generally object to anyone who tries to pin me to any part of the political 'spectrum'. I think foolish people follow political parties. Be damned the day I vote for a party just because I happened to vote that way in the last election. With regard to some issues I am far to the right of that guy in Washington. With regard to others I am far to the left of Marx and Engles. I guess that ever since I learned to value my vote I have wanted to use that vote to express what I hope is best for my neighbours, country, planet. As I get older, I cherish the right to vote more passionately than I did in earlier years--even though there seems to be less and less difference between candidates as the years progress.
