I woke up to the thought that I may have inadvertently offended Robomatic and Sleepless Dad earlier in this thread.

Robomatic and Sleepless Dad, I want to publicly offer my sincerest apologies to you for downputting the dishes that you would be bringing to that [imaginary] Mudcat gathering.

I'm truly sorry. I meant no disrespect. I know that I have to learn to be open to new ideas and new experiences, including food and deserts that I've never tasted before.

So if that I was priviledged to attend a covered dish gathering that Bev and Jerry or any others hosted to talk about serious subjects,
I would bring my sweet potato pies. But instead of settling for that dessert which is already known to me, I would have a slice of strawberry rhubard pie and a slice of peanut butter pie, and a slice of Key lime pie.

And I'd probably love them! Of course, I'd have to triple my exercise the next day, but oh well!!
