First he said everyone should march out of school: well Scottish schools are already on their summer hols by then!
There are only 5 million people in the whole of Scotland and there are more in Glasgow than in Edinburgh altho' the latter is considered (by non-Glaswegians to be the capital), so why didn't he target Glasgow? The G8 summit is in Gleneagles, not Edinburgh, but most people south of the Border don't know the difference.
The law ARE seriously worried: the Police in Edinburgh have already said so, and the Health boards are too.
The predicted shortage of portable toilets can only be due to one thing - they're all hired out to T-in the Park, the HUGE Scottish pop festival which happens to be uncannily close in time to the G8 summit and not a million miles away from it. Why doesn't Sir Bob take all his ranting to this captive audience who would no doubt love another great concert from him and his Live-Aid band?? In the meantime, serious T-in the Park ticket-holders are worried that they will not be able to get there because all public transport will be occupied by would-be marchers on Edinburgh.
Although I live in Edinburgh, I shall thankfully be 12000 miles away at the time: burglars please note that our house will NOT be unoccupied however!
