When trying to catogorise the music one should remember that the term "Heavy metal" was first used to describe them there can be discusion what the term means now along with "speed metal" "thrash metal" "hm overkill" "death metal" etc etc. but the point I put forward is that as the term was invited to describe them then Led Zep IS heavy metal.
