I think it's probably taken from a medley of "mouth tunes and nonsense rhymes" sung by Frank Steele on Scottish Tradition 1, Bothy Ballads: Music from the North-East (School of Scottish Studies; originally Tangent, re-issued on cd as Greentrax Recordings CDTRAX 9001).

I wish people would say where they got things from, but some can't remember, and others don't seem to think it matters.
