The sculptor was the then owner of the house who she remembers as a German man named Hans. The statue was made in the late 30's or early fourties is her recollection. (But then again she hadn't even been dreamed of yet.) The woman said she would come back with photos taken during a party in the back yard. Hopefully I can get more information then. I love to find out about the speakeasy.
