Nigel ~ Surely you are mistaken? I started watching Dr Who in 1973 and he was already on his third incarnation..... Either you have forgotten William Hartnell and Patrick Troughton who came before Jon Pertwee, or your dates are not entirely correct? Or have you your own Tardis and were standing next to Chris Ecclestone (see episode 1, latest series)?!
