I was there too, Don, remember? Yes, I know you do! But the heat really got to us all.

It was still a great weekend. I enjoyed seeing all the Mudcatters, but still missed a bunch- got a hug from KT but that's all, sat and chatted briefly with Jeri but never got to sing with her. Had a coupla chats with bbc, Kendall and Jacqui, the 'Chucks, esp. Kristine and Peter. Kept up pretty well at the "slow" jam led by George Wilson. Saw Dick and Susan, Sandy and Caroline, Karen K, Hollowfox, but yes, where were Vixen and Reynaud? Never saw Rita, and the elusive Ron Olesko is still elusive.

Other highlights were: high tea with Lynne Noel and co, meeting Alistair Brown, chatting with Barbara Benn, hearing an amazing array of singers and instrumentalists. And I walked away from a ukulele for sale- looks are deceiving, and I was given good advice not to buy it.

I got some decent pictures which I will post, but probably not till tomorrow (one more teacher workshop day today...).

It was fun to show off my new sweetie, too, who proved himself a trouper in spite of the heat. And my 16-year old kept a pretty good attitude most of the time, too.

Folks were saying that this was the hottest Old Songs ever. I believe it! But as always, it was a great one.
