Bryant, you're in a good place. My involvement with folk music got a big boost when I moved to Portland from Philadelphia in 1982, and started going to song circles. I later moved to Seattle and now am in Hawaii, but I treasure my experiences at the East Ave. Tavern and the Horse Brass Pub, and the song circles at David's house near Lloyd Center. I just clicked on Barbara's link to the PFS site, and found some old familiar names. I'm going to try to make it to Singtime Frolics in March, which should be wonderful. I'll look for you there.
