Thanks Baz...I managed to locate your posting but being a novice on the PC, I'll have to find someone who can show me if that huge batch of numbers can produce a playable midi file. In the meantime,I'm wrestling with the ABCs you included in that posting...your kind offer of an emailed midi is very appealing about now. And thanks to Fergus for the brief history...quite interesting. I'll pass that on to my Irish friends the next time I hear them sing the song.
