I have a cassette around here somewhere that is nothing more than the sound of the human heartbeat. It starts off at a normal rhythm and then slows down....our bodies...being unique creations of their own....tend to follow the heartbeat on the tape....knocks me out every single time. It alters the heartbeat as well as my breathing.

I also used to listen to a Whales Alive kind of CD but my roommate complained that it gave her nightmares about whales and Dr. Spock.

Go figure.
