Having spent part of my 29th wedding anniversary on Sunday putting up another CD-rack, I'd guess my collection is around 70%jazz, 15% blues, (electric as well as acoustic)10% folk,about half of that USA, the rest 50s rock 'n' roll, shows & comedy. Herself contributes classical, spoken word, soul and 60s pop to the mixture. I wondered who was represented in the most media. I have Lonnie Donegan on 78, LP, CD and cassette, I have the Weavers on 78, LP, CD but I have Fats Waller on all those and piano roll as well, so he wins out! One never knows do one?!
THe proportion of folk has grown considerably since I've been on the Mudcat and heard all your views on various artists.
