The wire services are reporting that a man is being held for the burnings and at this point do not believe it is a hate crime (as of Sunday evening at least). Not that it makes what happened any better, but hopefully it will turn out to be criminal activity and not a hate crime.   

The Klan is alive in all 50 states, thankfully not with the influence they once had.   Hate still exists and we need to keep fighting the ignorance.
