I presume they held off doing this until a significant number of folks DID have the broadband and XP it takes to run it right. My first 'puter ran Win3.1 at 14,000baud and had a 600mg drive - partitioned!...and I do NOT long for those days!...but that's what I first accessed Mudcat with.

GoogleEarth is fascinating....and it and similar stuff will become important givens of daily life, just as GPS is for many. Get those faster 'puters and broadband as soon as it is possible, folks...you will be glad.
