"Now Irishmen forget the past, ..." While this is part of a joke from the tune "God Bless England", it echo's JC's statement and Eric's quote from the old Aussie tune. All in all, even though these lines come from songs which have quite different meanings and intents, someday, hopefully, we will all be neighbours.

I have never seen the horrors ye lads have, but I have seen the hatred, even in some of my close relatives and neighbours. And, I am thousands of miles and nearly two centuries away.

It really is time, everywhere. Even here.
