It's all a conspiracy to sell more Tupperware. If we're brainwashed into believing that everything resides inside something else, then we're far more receptive to the idea that we should spend good money for silly plastic thingies to put stuff in.

Yes, I know that humankind has been playing the box-within-a-box game for thousands of years and Tupperware hasn't even been around one measly century, but all those years were just paving the way. Tupperware was, is, and will be inevitable. The entire history of human thought has been aimed toward the single goal of selling Tupperware. No, the thinkers weren't aware of it, but if you just read any of the great works of philosophy and substitute "Tupperware" for whatever metaphysical whatsis the author is talking about, you'll see.
