He was a one-off was LJB. I'm sorry to hear he's gone. He was a pioneering Bluesman in the Uk and I'm pleased I sawhim with one of his many line-ups. In 1968 I saw him with Reg Dwight on piano ,Marsha Hunt and Stuart A Brown on vocals and a sterling rhythm section. I may dig out my battered copy of "R'n'B at the Marquee" with Korner, Davies and LJB.
His Leadbelly tribute cd is well worth a listen IMHO.
