You have no idea, Marjorie. ;-) If all Shane's frustration and unrealized libido were materialized in one location, it would rival the Rockefeller Center for sheer mass. I've been to Blind River. I've even seen the "Iron Horse Bar & Grill" where Shane likes to hang out and harass the waitresses. You have to go there to fully appreciate it, believe me...but why would anyone?

Our beloved and late friend Rick Fielding actually played Blind River once or twice and lived to tell the tale! That takes grit when you're a folksinger. Clinton Hammond has never played Blind River, because he just doesn't have quite that much grit.

(Either that or he's just smart...) ;-)

Poor Shane is wasting away, madly in love with an attractive female police officer, "Officer Dana". He also yearns for Shania Twain. I'm not sure which objective is more unrealistic.
