I know that it it the Samson Syndrome. The first time I shaved off my beard in 30 years was during the Gulf War(In Israel)- In order to put the gas mask on. Suddenly I couldn't sing! The eye glass things got all steamy and my voice became all muffled. Also there was all sorts of thunder and lightning going on . I could voices speaking in many tongues and all of them saying things like "He scud off his beard" "sa damm shame" etc . So I knew it was a punishment from God for daring to shave off my beard . I resolved never again to touch a hair on my face. Now whenever I hear a siren I just stick my finger in my ear and sing"The Holy Ground"
