My dad never had a beard. And I have never dated a man with one. If I fell in love with someone who did have one, I believe I would love his beard too.
My brother is a very religious (Hassidic) Jew and you should see his beard. He believes you are not supposed to cut any part of the beard. His has become long & sacred.
