Liz, OK. A couple of comments though.

On who carried it out, my best understanding is that technicaly it would come under our MOD. They contract this sepecialist rescue service out to the private company and I presume they would have negiotiated.

I guess they [Russia] realise that help from any quarter is better than cutting off their noses to spite their faces.
