Waugh - you had 2 of the buggers who could bat and bowl! but you mean captains.

When Ponting came on, one of our old captains was mentioned, Graham Gooch, quite a handy medium pacer, esp when the ball was swinging. I felt he should have tried himself more often when the main bowlers didn't seem to making progress.

As for the game, you do miss McGrath. Not sure how your batsmen will fair. They haven't seemed to be running on all cylinders so far. The team as a whole hasn't. Not to detract from a very good England side who I want to win, I can't imagagine a great Australian side giving so many no balls away or dropping catches that at their level one would consider sitters - they have been sides you expect to take some of the 1/2 chances.

Maybe this England side are ratlling them a little... But I'm still not prepared to write Australia off. They have been too good and strong for too long... And England still possibly have the ghosts of snatching the defeat... Still plenty to keep my interest.
