There was the gal I had seen a few times and chatted with in the cafeteria. She was smart, I knew that. I walked up to her boldly and I said to her, "Ya want to go diving for manatee with me next day off?". She has often said that when she looked at me and said "Yes", she was answering a whole lo tmore than the question asked.

We went diving, and the second time out we found the manatee and conversed with them.

We were married six weeks later.

That was some 26 years ago. She still says "Yes."
