Me thinks I detect a little over zellous and unnecessary editing by a clone in adding (instrument) to the title of this thread? I feel John has sufficient command of the english language to have titled this thread EXACTLY how he wanted it to be titled. The resulting doble entendres and inuendo in the responses are, I feel sure, exactly what he hoped to produce:-).

For my part, I play the cello, which is rather on the large side as far as instruments go, though I have to confess that as I have got older, the energy required to pick it up and carry it around is a bit taxing on my physical resources, so now I play the violin. ;-) I did flirt with a Low D whistle for a while, but found it rather limited in performance though it did take up a lot less room.
