I have found that Wegmans differ from store to store...especially in the produce aisle! The Wegmans in Ithaca has much more in the lines of ethnic foods than the store that is about 40 miles south. And not only is Wegmans listed as the top place to work in NY, it makes the top ten in Fortune 500's of great places to work! Definately NOT a Walmart kind of store. My only complaint is that while they have 30 checkouts, more often than not, less than 10 of them are open.
