Hi Jim,
   The only song that I remember my father ever singing was "Chì Mi Na Mórbheanna ", but of course it was in the "old tongue". My mother was the singer and she did it much more often. It is only in recent years that I have heard it as "Mist Covered Mountains."
I am not familiar with "Smile In Your Sleep" but I intend to change that. As a descendant of Clearance exiles it sure interests me. If it is anyway near as powerful as your song about Glencoe it should be better known in Cape Breton, as this is where many of them started a new life.
