PPS Do you lot know a bloke from the Boston club called dave Fletcher?
We were in the same class in school together. When we were about fourteen, he told me all the naughty words for Madadmoiselle from Armentierres, and I think it was him who started my interest in the life of a musician, with tales of Brian Jones drug orgies.

Anyway time passes and he turned up briefly at that gig in Boston, and then that couple who won the songwriting competition in Saltburn were speaking in hushed terms about him. I never realised he was a major player - i wonder if he ever got the wild drug orgies - I bloody didn't!
