Many years ago at Unity Theatre folk club, we had rival orange and green socialist/communist singers. If one (Freddie McKay) gave us "The Old Orange Flute", the response (from Ted Franklin) could be, "One Morning on the Road to Mass, I killed a Protestant just for gas..". Of course the lyrics for "The Old Orange Flute" are readily available. Can anyone supply the lyrics of the other one? I am not sure if my version of the first two lines is correct. I heard them forty years and two continents ago.
