Back when he was in the employ of the Fermi Lab gang, he once herded three times 10 to the 12th power of protons all the way from Chicago to Florida, for delivery to the NASA crowd down there, for a science experiment scheduled to lift off in the nosecone of one of the early Atlas shots.
